Cardboard anatomy lessons!

Crafts are not only fun for your child. They also give you the opportunity to discover more experiences together and help the child learn their body. Using recycled materials, you can, in collaboration with your little one, make a "copy" of it and learn the members of their body at the same time! You can make your own copy, in addition to theirs, as well as a cardboard house that will host them!

Double fun!

It's not hard to make a copy of your child! Have them lie down on a large cardboard, ask them to stay as motionless as possible, and draw the outline of his body. Cut the outline with a pair of scissors, and then have the child decorate it with various recycled materials, such as eye bottle caps or old clothes newspapers - and that was it! Ask them to decorate each part of the body separately so you can teach them the body parts too!

And another mom to hug!

Now that the child has seen how it is done, ask them to make your outline, cut out the cardboard and paint it or decorate it together as you like! Once your paperwork is ready, you can tell your child to tell a story about these two characters.

Cardboard house

After you have made a mom and a cardboard kid, you have to build a house for them to stay in! Along with your little one, create cardboard backdrops for your paper towels by painting them with paints and crayons. You can start from the living room, but as the child develops the story they tell, you will add more rooms!

Finally, don't forget to take photos of your child's paper family to show them to your family, but also to share them with all the other moms here at Friso Experiences!

In addition to cultivating your child's imagination, this experience also practices hand-eye coordination and motor skills when drawing the outline or trying to paint without straying from the lines.
